I have decided to split my novel 'Tears of Ugh' into two parts and I am going to have two separate releases. After thinking long and hard about it I decided to name the first part 'Tears of Ugh: Part I'. Very original. More important than the title is the fact that Part I will be released for FREE on Kindle and iBooks on November 24th, 2015.
This light read is perfect if you are trying to escape the madness of the U.S.'s busiest travel day of the year, The dreaded Wednesday before Thanksgiving. Crying baby on the plane? Sitting in the passenger seat while stuck in traffic? Great time to read this on your E -reader or smartphone. Or the perfect book to sneak off and read if you are trying to get away from those crazy relatives. Will there be a 13 - 20 year old niece or nephew that is bored and bugging you? Use this novel to keep them occupied! Afraid someone is going to take the last piece of pumpkin pie? Distract them with the novel while you discreetly eat the final slice. There are many options out there for you to use this book to your benefit and to help spread awareness of my work.
I've put together a quick list of upcoming events leading up to the release:
November 14th: Story behind the story blog post. This novel, like the characters in it, has had quite the journey and I will explain it all in detail with this post.
November 17th: Release of the Cover Art.
November 20th: Release of the Transcript of my interview with Oprah (or at least what I imagine the transcript would look like if I was interviewed by Oprah).
November 24th: Download and read 'Tears of Ugh Part I' for FREE on Kindle and iBooks.
**Please, please, please, love it or hate it leave a review! Those are very influential in getting people outside of my immediate circle of friends and family to download and read the novel.**
Then on December 25th use you Amazon or Apple Store gift cards to download the thrilling conclusion to my debut novel: 'Tears of Ugh: Part II". The second ebook will not be free but it will include the original release as well as a new cover art some bonus material.
